ROARING FORK FAMILIES
I'm a non-profit leader, school volunteer, and mom to two Roaring Fork School District students.
I'm running for the RFSD School Board (District B) to work with you in building a great school district for our families. You can learn more about my priorities below.
Thank you for being an active member of the RFSD community, and please reach out to talk. I would love to learn about your priorities and tell you about mine.
Please vote on November 7, 2023!
WHY I'M RUNNING
The daughter of educators, I live in Carbondale and my two children attend Crystal River Elementary School. My family owns Independence Run & Hike.
I'm a past Board President of the Mt. Sopris Montessori Preschool and was on the Board of the Basalt Regional Library District Board. I hold a Masters of Library Science from the University of North Carolina. I once taught students English in rural Japan, juggling classes with 45 students!
Fifteen years ago, I moved to the Valley to be the research librarian at Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI). At RMI, I've worked with teams of scientists, researchers, and policymakers to tackle some of America's biggest energy and environmental challenges. Today, I work as Senior Director of Development at RMI, where I build partnerships with leading charities, philanthropists, private sector innovators, and governments around the world to tackle energy sector problems.
Public service has been a “North star” in my professional and personal life, and I am honored to have my fellow residents of the Roaring Fork Valley consider voting for me to serve on the School Board.
